About the Therapist

Hi - I’m Stevi.

I understand what it is to be vulnerable with someone you don’t know, so let me tell you a bit about me. The first thing you may want to know is that I’ve struggled with my own bouts of relational distress, anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties. As a military spouse, I’ve been through multiple moves (some in very difficult locations), separations from my partner, and difficulties with reintegration; I’ve also been fortunate enough to have a strong support system and to be able to access mental health professionals who have helped me overcome and readjust. I recognize that I am privileged and want to use my privilege to do good for my community.

I have a strong desire to help those who have struggled the most. I am an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, military friendly, equal opportunity therapist. I welcome those who have been marginalized, oppressed, or demoralized. As your ally, I will be present for you while you process your unique experiences. Together, we will make sense of things and use what we learn to shape a new narrative. My attachment-based approach is integral to fostering caring connections both within the therapeutic alliance and within your own relationships to self & others.

Though I haven’t always been a therapist - I’ve worked in retirement living, education, and the nonprofit world- I find joy in my work, and feel like I’ve found my home helping others in this way. I moved to Olympia, Washington in 2023 with my partner, Phillip, and our two senior dogs (Molly the Lab & Toby the cranky old Aussie / Collie). I find peace in the outdoors and through my yoga practice. I enjoy traveling, reading fiction, watching movies, creating things, and fermenting anything I can put in a jar.
